We are looking for staff for the period May-August!

Our company has a dedicated team of around 5 employees (3.5 FTE) who work throughout the year, with part-time options available. During our busiest periods, such as asparagus and ilex harvesting, we value the willingness of our staff to assist in managing the increased workload together. To meet the seasonal demands, we also hire a considerable number of temporary employees, particularly during the spring and summer months. We prioritize working with individuals from Valkenswaard and conduct our operations primarily in Dutch. In collaboration with the municipality, we actively support the integration of new Dutch citizens through language internships and regular employment contracts.

During the asparagus season, we rely primarily on student labor for harvesting. Our fields are conveniently located nearby, allowing groups of students to work on a daily basis, primarily in the morning (8:00-11:00 am) and evenings (6:00-9:00 pm). To streamline the process, we utilize an internet-based planning program and a dedicated group WhatsApp. In February and March, students have the opportunity to apply for asparagus harvesting work. As the season approaches, we host an information meeting at the end of March to engage both existing and prospective asparagus growers, providing them with valuable insights.

To join our asparagus cutting team, you should be a minimum of 15 years old and available for at least three cutting sessions per week. During the summer holidays, we welcome applicants who are at least 14 years old and able to commit to a minimum of three weeks of work.

We adhere to the Collective Labor Agreement for open cultivation in horticulture, which includes a time-for-time arrangement for our student workers. As for cutting asparagus, students are typically paid per kilogram harvested. To celebrate the end of the asparagus season, we organize a festive party for all employees, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved!
